I have experience working with children, as young as age four, teens, and adults in individual and couple sessions. Savana Lane, MSW, LCSW Area of Focus: Adults (All Ages) & Couples I enjoy working with adults, young adults, and couples who are coping with life challenges that are impacting their daily lives. I am passionate about helping people find coping skills to assist them in achieving their goals. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and have completed Level 1 and Level 2 of the Gottman Method Training for couples therapy. I use a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens, incorporating a client's individual values into my practice. I pride myself in creating an environment of compassion and understanding to help clients feel comfortable, safe, and ready to meet their goals. It is my mission to meet clients where they are at and to create a treatment plan that will be unique to their experience. My therapeutic approach is focused on using a strengths-based and client-centered approach. I enjoy using play therapy techniques to help individuals communicate their feelings and thoughts, building on coping strategies to promote emotional regulation, working on emotional identification, and incorporating art or the client's interests into sessions. Through a strengths-based lens, my therapeutic approach is focused on how we can utilize the skills and strengths you carry to meet your goals, address your concerns, and live the life you wish to live. I have experience working with teens and adults navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, and family dynamics. In addition, I am experienced in trauma-focused care with teens and adults, supporting clients with schizophrenia and personality disorders, working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, and experience with immigrant and refugee populations. I have specialized training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). I enjoy utilizing multiple therapeutic approaches and modalities to give you the tools to overcome barriers, engage in radical acceptance, and develop healthy coping mechanisms. Melinda Szemraj, MS, LPC-IT Areas of Focus: Children (3+), Teens, and Adults I value the uniqueness each client brings into the therapeutic relationship and strive to create a space that feels welcoming, safe, and free from judgement.
