Areas of Focus: Adults (Psychological Testing & Therapy) & Children (Psychological Testing Only for ages 6 and up) I have experience providing psychotherapy and psychological testing to individuals across the lifespan and in a variety of clinical settings. My clinical focus is treating anxiety, trauma, and depression and I have training and experience in a wide variety of therapeutic techniques. However, research shows that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor when it comes to progress in psychotherapy. Therefore, my focus is on establishing a strong rapport with each client as well as a safe and therapeutic environment for the individuals I have the opportunity to serve. The therapy approaches I most often use include Psychodynamic, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also have training and experience in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition to psychotherapy, I provide psychological testing to help clarify diagnosis and inform treatment for concerns related to a variety of issues including ADHD and mood disorders (e.g. depression, anxiety, bipolar). |
