Jessica (Jessie) Love, MS, LPC Provides School Based Services at Barron School District As humans, we all experience something that may be difficult to deal with alone, though as we may try. Therefore, it is my goal to create an environment where these experiences can be shared, processed, and reimagined as strength for the present and future, whatever that may mean for the client. It is imperative that a strong, authentic therapeutic relationship is founded in order to build and maintain trust (something I think many people find in short supply in their lives at times), creating a connection where healing and growth begins. I have experience working with drug and alcohol addiction in both adolescents and adults, which is my passion. It was my clients that inspired me to learn more and do better so I can provide more insights on other mental health topics that often go hand in hand with substance use. Topics such as anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, conduct disorders, family mental health/addiction issues that may have molded parts of who we are today, but that we may not want to play as big a role in our future. Join me in this journey! Jessica (Jessie) Love, MS, LPC

Kristen Lane, MS, LPC Provides School Based Services at Somerset School District I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and families who are struggling to find balance, freedom, and meaningful connections in life. I especially have a passion for helping those who feel trapped in negative cycles, whether it be related to defeating beliefs, food, body image, codependency, isolation, or anxiety. I help ‘bridge the gap’ when there is a breakdown of communication between parents/children, couples, and other significant relationships by using and teaching effective communication skills with the goal of mutual understanding. I am also comfortable discussing matters of spirituality, identity, and finding purpose/meaning in life. I approach each client as a unique individual who has the capacity for growth, change, and building a life worth living. I use a balance of helping clients find insight behind issues/behaviors while also implementing practical steps for change. Clients appreciate the safe, supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere I create, which I believe is vital to the ultimate therapeutic process and goals each client has. I have special interest in working with eating disorders, body image, anxiety, depression, addictive habits, ADHD, assertiveness skills, low self-esteem, stress management, and life transitions. Johnna Klein, MSW, LCSW Provides School Based Services at Cameron School District I believe my role is to develop a strong relationship with the student. My goal is to become a consistent adult in their life, outside of their home environment, who listens, supports, encourages and assists in developing and achieving their goals. Working together, the student and I will define their therapy goals. My focus is to help students identify and recognize their strengths. As our work together progresses students begin to understand that they have what is needed to work towards overcoming life’s daily challenges. We continue to practice those skills as well as develop other interpersonal tools. I work with students from a strengths-based perspective. I want to aid students to identify and fine tune their skills, which, when practiced, allows them to be problem solvers. I use Choice Theory to help students understand the consequences or benefits of their choices and to own the choices they make. This assists students in realizing they have a level of self-control within their own lives. They can change some of life’s difficulties by shaping their choices differently. The sessions I lead with students have covered an array of topics, concerns, questions, struggles and challenges. Some examples would be relating to their mental health, behavior struggles, family issues, friend issues, academic struggles, self-esteem, bullying and more. Johnna Klein, MSW, LCSW
