I believe an environment that is inclusive, non-judgmental, and fosters the belief that you are heard and valued is the cornerstone for the growth, change, and healing you desire. I am passionate about creating that environment, so you feel nurtured, safe, and empowered to experience vulnerability, face challenges, and develop the coping skills necessary to regain your personal strength and find joy in your day-to-day. By using a combination of solution, narrative, cognitive behavioral and emotionally focused therapy we will work together to tailor your therapeutic journey to meet the individual or relational challenges you face.

I have experience working with children, as young as age four, teens, and adults in individual and couple sessions. My areas of interest include anxiety, blended family processes, communication enhancement, depression, emotional regulation and related behavioral difficulties, healing from trauma and abuse, life transition changes, mindfulness practices, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and stress management.

Artmaking can offer people the opportunity to express emotions without having to use their words. Often times words fail us and the creative process of making art offers an outlet for appropriate reflection and expression of emotions or experiences. I teach clients skills of self-regulation, mindfulness, positive coping skills, and feeling identification through the use of artistic media.

I have experience working with adolescents and adults coping with anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. With the use of a humanistic and client-centered approach, I assist clients to uncover their emotions and give them resources on how to express themselves in a safe and healthy way. I strive to meet clients where they are at and help build a safe space for each client to grow toward the life they want to live. Utilizing artmaking can help guide the therapeutic process based on the needs of each client.
